What ages are the Kids & Teens classes for?

Kids & Teens classes are for children and teens from 3 to 17 years old. We organize groups by stages—Babies, Kids, Young 1, Young 2, and Teens—to adapt learning to each age and developmental moment.

How do I choose the right class for my child?

We help you choose the class based on their age, experience, personality, and energy. They can start with a more creative, technical, or urban discipline, and if there are doubts, we recommend trying a class to see which group they feel best in.

Can they try a class before enrolling?

We answer the most common questions before starting a dance class.

Is previous dance experience required?

No. We have classes for different ages and levels. Some groups are designed for beginners, and others for students who already have a foundation and want to continue advancing.

What is the progression like within the classes?

Progression adapts to each stage. We gradually work on coordination, rhythm, technique, expression, confidence, and autonomy, respecting each student’s process.

Y para practicar cuando hay fiesta también. Abren ese espacio completo con ese suelo que resbala tan rico y olvídate, ahí todos cabemos bailando. La escuela tiene muy buen ambiente y he conocido profesores con verdadera aura de sabios pacientes, que te acompañan en tu proceso de aprendizaje. Puede ser frustrante porque el nivel va superándose, pero vas bien guiado, en un lugar seguro y en buenas manos. He conectado con muchísima gente, dentro y fuera del salón. Siento que soy parte de algo parecido a una comunidad. Y puede hacer calor a veces, pero es que las clases invitan a darlo todo. Y si no, te paras un rato al lado del aire acondicionado o de alguno de los muchos ventiladores y ya está. Además, si no vas a sudar, ¿para qué bailas?
En fin, ASB me ha cambiado la vida en muchos aspectos, de formas que no me esperaba ni imaginaba. Puede sonar cursi o como una tontería, pero es que aquí encontré luz en forma de baile. Aquí soy feliz. Aquí me despojo de preocupaciones y me contento con el mundo. Siento paz, me recompongo, recargo energía. Aquí a menudo todo lo demás, allá afuera, parece banal y absurdo.
No puedo decir que conozco todas las escuelas de Barcelona. Tampoco puedo decir que no he probado ni que no me han invitado a otras. Pero a ASB no la cambio por ninguna. Es triste comparar, pero es que para mí no se compara.
Por eso, a todo el equipo, gracias. Lili siempre atenta, con su semblante zen, tan bella que parece mentira. Y todo lo mejor para los profes que he tenido la dicha de conocer. Pero en especial para mis profes oficiales y esenciales, Cristian Mauricio y Glenda, que son una bendición. Ojalá que me duren mucho, mucho más.

I attended the urban dance classes and enjoyed them so much. The teacher is energetic and lovely, and explains everything very clearly — even for me, an English-only speaker, it was always easy to follow along. The reception staff and their WhatsApp support were also very kind and attentive.

Asistí a las clases de danza urbana y las disfruté muchísimo. La profesora es energética y encantadora, y explica todo de forma muy clara — incluso a mí, que solo hablo inglés, siempre conseguí seguir las clases sin problema. La recepción y la atención por WhatsApp también fueron muy amables y atentas.

Working with Pedro for our wedding first dance was one of the most meaningful parts of our wedding journey. From our very first lesson, he created such a fun, encouraging, and supportive environment that made us look forward to every session.

Pedro choreographed an incredible routine that felt like *us*. He has an amazing ability to create choreography that is both beautiful and natural while making you feel confident every step of the way.

What meant the most to me, though, was the personal growth I experienced during our lessons. I tend to overthink everything and have always struggled with expressing myself freely. Pedro encouraged me to stop worrying about doing everything perfectly, to feel the music, and to not be afraid of being seen. That is something I'll carry with me far beyond our wedding day, and I'm so grateful for it.

Our actual first dance didn't go exactly as planned. We had unexpected music issues at the venue, and my husband was completely exhausted, so we definitely forgot quite a few steps. But thanks to Pedro's choreography and everything he taught us, we still had an absolute blast. We laughed through it, stayed connected, and ended up with some truly beautiful photos that captured the joy of the moment.

Pedro gave us so much more than dance lessons—he gave us confidence, unforgettable memories, and an experience that helped me connect more deeply with myself. We can't wait to take more classes with Pedro and this studio in the future.

If you're considering their wedding dance package, don't hesitate. I cannot recommend Pedro highly enough. He is an incredibly talented instructor, an amazing choreographer, and a wonderful person to learn from.
