Alexey Dmitrenko

Teacher and Choreographer

With a solid background in classical ballet and extensive international experience in the field of dance, Alexey’s work combines technical precision, artistic sensibility, and a profound perspective on the body as an expressive tool.

Solid Training

He trained at some of the most renowned international classical ballet institutions. He studied at the Moscow State Academy and later at the Vienna State Opera Academy, where he was admitted with a Nureyev Foundation scholarship. This academic foundation, deeply rooted in classical tradition, has been the starting point for a career developed through performance, choreographic creation, and teaching.

Professional Career

For over 15 years, Alexey Dmitrenko has built a solid career as a professional dancer in international ballet and contemporary dance companies, performing repertoires by highly acclaimed choreographers and working in diverse stage contexts. In parallel, he has developed an extensive career as a teacher and choreographer in schools, festivals, and training programs across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Since his arrival in Barcelona, he continues to be involved in teaching and creation, collaborating with leading dance centers and projects.
For Alexey, dance is not understood solely through form or technical demands, but through the deep relationship each person builds with their own body. His perspective encourages training with precision, but also with listening, awareness, and care. In his classes, the body becomes a tool for knowledge, expression, and transformation, where technique serves movement and movement serves a more honest, healthy, and present dance.

What will you learn with ALEXEY?

With Alexey, you will learn to build a more conscious, solid, and healthy technique. His classes invite you to better understand how the body organizes itself in movement, how to use energy with precision, and how to find a clearer, more available, and expressive dance. Through work that integrates technical foundation, body awareness, and physical care, you will develop tools to improve your posture, coordination, mobility, and stage presence. A space to advance technically without losing listening, sensitivity, and connection with your own body.
